Pink Month

“Pink Month”

The plan was confirmed. Time to have a port placed. The port allows you to receive chemo and to have blood work done without sticking your arms less damage. In and out procedure.

Towards the end my port had embedded itself. I was in severe pain. No infection just my skin was growing over it. Rare thing that happens to some.

First dose scheduled. The first dose is usually the longest one. I was there for at least 8 hours. They give you benedryl and watch you closely. Checking for allergic reactions.

Saddle up!!!
