Pink Month

“Pink Month”

Breast Surgeon sent the Oncologist referral. That appointment was to go over the numbers and discuss treatment options. I had 5 different options! I chose the one with the best survivor rate, but the hardest on my body.

Side Effects - Bone, Heart, and Back Issues.

6 chemotherapy treatments- included 5 meds

A year of target meds - included 2 meds

After the 6 treatments we would evaluate the lump and see if surgery and radiation was needed.

Heart and bone test every 3 months to make sure my body could stand what I was being given (poison) chemo treatments basically kill everything in your body it has no way to determine what cells are good or bad so it kills it all!

Saddle up!!!!
